ABOUT US
American Log Homes was incorporated under the laws of the State of Missouri in 1977. The co-founder and president, Clyde Cremer, is a graduate forester with many years of experience in the forests of the United States. Cremer has a BS in forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University (Nacagdoches, TX), and a Master's of Forestry from Yale University.

His experience in log home manufacturing dates back to 1973. It was Cremer's belief that a better log could be produced at a more competitive price than products already on the market. The drafting table was literally cleared off and a new log design was perfected. This new design started with well-seasoned timber. Then double tongue-and-groove was milled into the log, along with a drip edge. This superior log design is now the basis for a quality log home construction system.

In 1984, American Log Homes moved its offices to Pueblo West, Colorado. The plant processes logs for distribution throughout the United States and Japan.
